Phonics Programme
At Bader Academy, we teach phonics through the DfE validated ‘All Aboard Phonics’ scheme. All Aboard is a systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) programme that takes its core research from the Letters and Sounds process which has been developed to help identify and intervene with specific areas of reading difficulty. Our young people will access phonics sessions within the curriculum and use decodable books, developed by the All Aboard Phonics team, to help strengthen and develop their phonetic knowledge.
Reading Scheme
At Bader Academy, we are committed to fostering a love of reading in every child. That’s why we use Renaissance MyON, a fantastic online reading platform that provides students with access to thousands of engaging digital books tailored to their interests and reading levels.
